A Tattooed Man Who Physically Abused A Toddler In Makassar Gets Arrested

MAKASSAR - The man who abused a toddler was arrested by the police. The perpetrator was arrested after the police received a report from the victim's mother.

The head of Panakkukang Police Commissioner Jamal Fathur Rakhman said the arrests were made after the police chased the perpetrators this afternoon.

"Alhamdulillah, we have secured the perpetrators, and now they are at the Police Headquarters", Police Commissioner Jamal Fathur told reporters, Tuesday, February 9.

The perpetrator was caught at Jalan AP Pettarani Makassar. The perpetrator was arrested by the mobile team and immediately taken to the Panakkukang Police.

"The article we are implementing is Article 85 of the Child Protection Law, with the threat of 5 years in prison", continued Jamal Fathur.

This baby has bruises all over his body. This baby was abused by a man who is now being chased by the police.

Abused babies in Makassar took place at the victim's mother's boarding house in Panaikang, Panakkukang on Monday, February 8.

"The child was fussy (suspected to be the cause of abuse). They live together in one of the rented boarding houses on Jalan Haji Kalla, Makassar City", he said.

The victim's mother did not accept the treatment of her boyfriend, so she reported the case to the police.

"The mother had come to report, then the victim was taken to the hospital for a post mortem and the doctor advised to just get treatment", he said.
