Brigadier KS Who Shot DPO To Death In West Sumatra Was Criminal, Ethical Sanctions Await
JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters emphasized that Brigadier KS who was named a suspect for shooting the DPO with the initials D until death was processed criminally. Brigadier KS was charged with articles on persecution.
"The person concerned we are wearing Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code (regarding persecution that causes death)," said Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, to reporters, Tuesday, February 9.
Brigadier KS has been in the detention cell of the West Sumatra Police Directorate General of Investigation since 31 January. Brigadier KS will also be given ethical sanctions. This process will be carried out after the criminal case has been processed.
Meanwhile, the other five people were subject to ethical sanctions. Unfortunately, it has not been clearly conveyed the form of ethical sanctions.
"There are 5 people that we also wear a code of ethics. This is what the police do and we are transparent," said Argo.
In this case, Brigadier KS shot a fugitive with the initials D to death on 27 January. The shooting was allegedly carried out only by Brigadier KS. Meanwhile, his five colleagues were only in the vicinity of the incident.
