Police Mentions Ustaz Maaher's Treatment The Best

JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters emphasized that his party had carried out the postponement of detention at the hospital of Ustaz Maaher At Thuwailibi alias Soni Ernata.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said that postponement of detention for Ustaz Maaher could be proven by the existence of files in the possession of investigators.

"We have done this and we have a letter asking the investigators to go to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital. What is it for? For treatment," Argo told reporters, Tuesday, February 9.

Then, Argo also emphasized that in treating Ustaz Maaher, the Police had done their best. In fact, various treatments were given to restore the condition.

Everything about Ustaz Maaher's health development was written in his medical record. So, this also rejects all assumptions that Ustaz Maaher's death was not caused by illness.

"We conveyed that there are a lot of them from this hospital, so not only once but there is a lot that is done every day, this is the result. All of this is a medical record. This means that the information from the doctor concerned is sick. We also check all of the lab results," said Argo.

"Here are some of the results that we get from doctors and laboratories. We also do this. There are also those from the Police Health Center," he continued.

Previously, Ustaz Maaher At Thuwailibi alias Soni Ernata reportedly died in the Police Criminal Investigation cell. He died at 19.00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).

The cause of Ustaz Maher's death was thought to be a disease in his intestines. He died after previously undergoing treatment due to illness.

As for the case involving Ustaz Maher related to the alleged hate speech. He was arrested by the police after tweeting through his personal Twitter account @ustadzmaheer_. He was considered to have insulted Habib Luthfi bin Yahya.
