Reply To Israeli Military Attack, Al-Qassam Brigade Claims Fire 5 Thousand Rockets From Gaza
JAKARTA - The Indonesian hospital in Beilt Lahiya in the Gaza Strip, Palestine was targeted by Israeli military airstrikes on Saturday, according to a report by the Palestinian news agency WAFA. A retaliatory attack on Israel was carried out.
A medic was killed in an Israeli attack on a hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
A WAFA correspondent said at least one Israeli missile hit the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya. The attack also injured a number of other people, and damaged hospital essential equipment.
Four Palestinians were previously killed in Israeli attacks in the north and middle of the Gaza Strip, according to a WAFA report.
The Israeli attack was in retaliation for the attacks of Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip that fired a series of rockets into its territory on Saturday morning local time.
As reported by Anadolu, rocket salvo attacks were fired from various locations in an area surrounded by Palestinian militant groups in the Gaza Strip. However, Israel's Iron Dome defense system managed to thwart the attack in several areas.

The Al-Qassam Brigade, armed wing of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, announced rocket attacks on enemy territory, airports, and military installations had begun.
5,000 rockets and bullets were fired from Gaza towards Israel in the first 20 minutes of operation, the Al-Qassam Brigade said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military has declared it ready for war and mobilized reserve soldiers on a large scale in response to the attack.
Indonesian hospitals in the Gaza Strip, which have been operating since December 2015, were built with funds originating from donations from the Indonesian people.
The hospital has a capacity of 110 beds and provides various health services, including inpatient services, operating rooms, ICUs and emergency rooms.
