This Is The Reason DKI Still Uses PSBB Term, Not Micro-PPKM
JAKARTA - When the central government instructed the provinces in Java and Bali to implement restrictions on community activities (PPKM), DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan continued to use the term of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).
According to Deputy Governor of DKI, Ahmad Riza Patria, whatever the term is, DKI will still follow the central government in implementing the PPKM micro-scale provisions which will take effect today until February 22nd.
It's just that, said Riza, DKI continues to use the PSBB term which is also being extended starting today for the next two weeks.
"The terminology is the same. Each region has its own terms. The central government makes regulations that must be implemented, we implement them. However, each region is given the authority, limitations, and duties of each. Yes, go ahead," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Monday, February 8th.
Riza explained, in this third volume of PSBB, there was an increase in the capacity of on-site dining services at restaurants or restaurants, from 25 percent to 50 percent.
Then, the operational limit for restaurants and shopping centers was extended to 21.00 Western Indonesia Time. Then, the capacity of employees who are allowed to work in the office is 50 percent.
"We follow what is the policy of the central government. Of course, the central government has considered, researched, and made comprehensive, holistic studies," he said.
DKI, said Riza, will also follow the center by imposing micro-scale PPKM. In fact, Riza claims that DKI has implemented a strict control area program (WPK) since June 4, 2020.
"We formed what we call Kampung Siaga (Standby Village), Kampung Aman (Safe Village), Kampung Tangguh (Strong Village). In fact, all Neighborhood Units (RT-RW) in Jakarta had their task force formed since June last year," said the Gerindra politician.
"The number of entrances to each RW is limited, then hand sanitizers, sinks, patrols are provided, there are cleaning, disinfectants, and various other programs that we have been doing for a long time. Also monitoring", he continued.
