Poltracking Survey, Prabowo-Ganjar Competing, Anies Baswedam Sequencing Buncit

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Poltracking survey institute released the results of a survey on the electability of three presidential candidates (Readpres) in 2024. As a result, Prabowo Subianto ranks first.

"In the current simulation of 3 strong presidential candidates, Prabowo Subianto has 38.9 percent electability," said Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia Hanta Yuda in a statement, Saturday, October 7.

While in second place, namely Ganjar Pranowo. The electability of the presidential reading carried by PDIP is 37 percent. Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan was in distended order with 19.9 percent.

Prabowo Subianto and Ganjar Pranowo's electability has indeed increased. However, there is a difference between the two.

For the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, it is said that the increase in electability tends to be consistent. Meanwhile, Ganjar Pranowo is more volatile.

Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan's electability tends to decline. Based on data, the decline has occurred since October 2022.

"Tren elektabilitas Anies Baswedan cenderung mengalami penurunan sejak deklarasi pencapresan pada Oktober 2022, meskipun mengalami kenaikan kembali sejak deklarasi capres-cawapres pada awal September 2023," katanya.

For information, this survey was conducted in the period 3 to 9 September 2023. The survey was conducted with face-to-face interviews with respondents.

As well as using a multistage random sampling method involving 1,220 respondents who are citizens with voting rights aged 17 years and over. The margin of error survey is +- 2.9 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
