House Of Representatives Criticizes The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Regarding The IDR 287 Billion Budget
JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII of The House of Representatives, Andi Yuliani Paris strongly criticizes the Ministry of Energy And Mineral Resources' IDR 287 billion budget for making recommendations and studies. Andi stated that the results of this recommendation and study was unclear.
" IDR 287 billion is only for making policies, making recommendations and research, it is useless. I once asked for the results of the previous year's research, it's redundant. How come you need IDR 4.8 billion just to make regulations? And then IDR 4.9 billion is needed for the draft of the Ministerial Decree for the mineral and coal sub-sector, there are also recommendations for the use of coal and fuel for power plants", said Andi Yuliani Paris in a meeting (RDP) at the House of Representatives quoted by VOI, Monday, February 8.
"If you want to make recommendations now, what does the Ministry of Energy And Mineral Resources do all this time? Nothing? Everyone has just done research now and making policies. Look at this, don't you have hearts?", said Andi.
Andi said that the research and recommendations had never been examined by the Corruption Eradication Commission and the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia.
"I know that this work cannot be examined because it is entagible, You don’t have hearts. I gave the data to the minister regarding the IDR 287 billion budget, and you used IDR 4.9 billion to make policies. I asked you for the results of the study and the recommendation. I want to know what recommendation can you give for this country? I need this to be discussed, deliver your policies. From the total amount of IDR 287 billion, you still have IDR 260 billion, I need the recap. Where are your hearts?", said Andi.
