Maros Residents Who Specialize In Motorcycle Thieves Who Like To Spy On Motorbikes In Front Of Houses Are Arrested By The Police

MAKASSAR - Two residents of Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, were arrested by the police. Both are motorcycle theft specialists.

"The perpetrator was arrested after receiving reports that a motorbike was stolen from a resident," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Maros Police, Iptu Rusly, to reporters, Monday, December 8.

The two perpetrators arrested by the Jatanras team with the initials F and M. Both targeted the motorbike parked in front of the house.

"It was the perpetrator M who invited F to take a walk looking for a target to steal a motorcycle," said Iptu Rusly.

At the location of the theft target at the Pepabri housing complex, Sudiang, Makassar, the perpetrator M was in charge of checking the unlocked motorbike. M immediately took the motorbike from the theft location.

The victim who lost his motorbike immediately reported this incident. The police arrested the two perpetrators along with the stolen motorbike as evidence.

"The suspected articles are Article 363 paragraph (1) and / or Article 362 of the Criminal Code," said Rusly.
