Menpora Dito Hopes Tangsel Can Become A Role Model For The Implementation Of Tarkam Kemenpora 2023
TANGSEL - Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo hopes that South Tangerang City (Tangsel) will be able to become a role model for the implementation of the 2023 Kemenpora Inter-Campung Championship (Tarkam).
This hope was conveyed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito, after witnessing the Tarkam Volleyball Championship at Cilenggang Field, South Tangerang, Banten, Sunday, August 20.
"Hopefully South Tangerang can become a pilot for other regencies/cities, which hopefully the Tarkam Kemenpora event will become an event that can bring together the community and potential achievements in the future," said Menpora Dito.
The 2023 Tarkam Kemenpora Championship is a leading program and priority of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in order to cultivate sports in the community, as stipulated in the Great Design of National Sports (DBON).
"Hopefully in the future, after these first 32 points, it can be improved again in the future so that more district/city points are involved," hoped Menpora Dito.
"So how can this sport be held simultaneously in all regions in Indonesia and this is a forum that mandates the community. So the implementation is directly all of the 32 regencies/cities that move together," he explained.
This tarkam competition will generally play matches in basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton and athletics. The implementation of the 2023 Kemenpora Tarkam Championship was held in accordance with the direction of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) where sport must be able to touch the lowest layer, namely from the village or village, as well as a means of finding national sports talents.
"So more or less this will be carried out for three months. The results will be from the finals in these areas, we will carry out an exhibition game to gather champions from all over this area. So in the end, talent scouting," concluded Menpora Dito.
