Nono Sampono Inaugurated As Head Of PP-KKI, Menpora Dito Asks Karate To Improve Development And Achievement
JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo attended the inauguration of the Kushin Central Management Ryu M Karate-Do Indonesia (PP-KKI) for the 2021-2026 term of service. Menpora Dito hopes that PP-KKI can improve sports coaching and achievements.
The inauguration took place at the Kartika Chandra Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday 15 August. Led by the Chairman of the PP-KKI Board of Trustees, Oesman Sapta Odang, the inauguration was solemn and ended with the handover of the flag to the General Chairperson of PP-KKKI, Marine TNI (Ret.) Lt. Gen. Nono Sampono.
"It is an honor for me to be present at this inauguration. We know that this karate college organization is very large and has a strong network. So I entrust it to the general chairman so that his coaching must be fast and achieve," said Menpora Dito.
Menpora Dito emphasized that his presence on this occasion was a commitment that the Ministry of Youth and Sports was ready to support the development of the martial arts sport. Even ready to collaborate.
"We certainly support karate, because karate is included in the Great Design of National Sports (DBON). I also entrust it so that early coaching must also be considered," explained Menpora Dito.
At the end of his remarks, Menpora Dito congratulated all the newly appointed administrators. "Congratulations to all those who have been inaugurated. Many figures are here and we are waiting for their dedication and achievements," explained Menpora Dito.
Meanwhile, the Head of PP-KKI, Nono Sampono, expressed his gratitude for the support of Menpora Dito for the development of karate in the country. He is determined to do coaching and create achievements.
"We will try to move forward and be better, achieve achievements and make the nation proud. I am optimistic that this can be realized," he concluded.
