KTM 890 Adventure R R Rally 2024 Limited Edition Sold Out In A Short Time

JAKARTA - Last Wednesday, KTM opened online sales for the limited edition of KTM 890 Adventure R R Rally 2024. Buyers can make orders by paying an advance of 890 euros or around IDR 14.5 million. However, surprisingly, this motorbike sold out in a short time.

According to a report from Rideapart, Tuesday, September 26, 700 units of available motorcycles have been sold in less than three days since the first order opened on September 20, as announced by KTM.

The Austrian manufacturer also revealed that all slots for the Ultimate KTM Desert Experience, an exclusive adventure program that has only been offered to 34 KTM buyers 890 Adventure R R Rally 2024, have been fully occupied.

This is not the first time a KTM limited edition motorcycle has been sold out properly. Previously, the same model as the 2021 production, which was also offered in the same amount, had been sold out in less than 48 hours. Keep in mind that this version of 2021 has a lower price.

As a reference, KTM 890 Adventure Rally 2021 is sold for 20,899 euros or around IDR 341.8 million. Meanwhile, the 2024 model is set at a price of 22,990 euros or around IDR 378.6 million.

This motorbike is based on the 450 Rally KTM motorcycle used by Kevin Benavides which won the 2023 Dakar Reli. KTM 890 Adventure R R Rally is designed to overcome various terrains, both on-road and off-road.

This motorcycle is equipped with an Xplor Pro 7548 suspension at the front and a back monoshock of the WP Xplor Pro 6746 suspension, which provides extraordinary reliability and performance across various types of terrain.

To improve off-road capabilities, KTM couples 21-inch Excel finger rims up front and 18 inches behind. The braking is done with a four-piston timesper that is mounted radially on the front and a two-piston floating Kaliper on the back, with ABS that can be disabled for "off-road" modes.

KTM 890 Adventure R R Rally is equipped with a 5-inch LCD TFT screen in the middle of the handlebar, which displays all the important information about the vehicle, including traction control, driving mode, and navigation by turn. It is equipped with a KTM Tech Pack, which includes Motor Slip Regulation, Cruise Control, Quickshifter, and Rally mode.

The KTM 890 Adventure R R RRally liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine meets the Euro 5b standard and produces up to 105 dk of power and 100 Nm of torque. This force is channeled through the transmission of six accelerations with the PASC slipper coupling and the end drive of the chain to the rear wheels, while the standard disposal system is equipped with the Akrapovic Slip-On Line.
