The Police Finally Arrested The Murderer Of A Young Woman In Garut, The Body Was Found With Bamboo Stuck In The Body

JAKARTA - The Garut Police has finally arrested an actor who was involved in the murder of a young woman in Garut.

This case was viral and became a topic of conversation among netizens because when it was found on a river bank in Sucinaraja Subdistrict, Garut Regency, West Java, there was a bamboo stuck in the victim's anus.

"The perpetrator who allegedly killed has been secured," said Garut Police Chief, AKBP Adi Benny Cahyono when contacted, reported by Antara, Sunday, February 7.

He said the suspect with the initials DH (22) is currently undergoing further investigation by the Garut Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"Currently an examination is being carried out," he said. Regarding the motive and relation to the victim, said the Police Chief, it is still in the process of being investigated, then it will be conveyed through a press conference.

"The perpetrator with the initials DH, tomorrow (Monday) we plan to expose it," he said.

Previously, the victim, known as Weni Tania (21), a resident of Wanaraja Subdistrict, Garut Regency, was found dead in a pathetic condition, which was rotting and a bamboo stick stuck in his body.

The victim's body was first found by residents who happened to be crossing the scene on the banks of the Cimalaka River, Muncang Lega Village, Tegalpanjang Village, Sucinaraja District, Friday morning, February 5.

The police then proceeded to process the scene of the case and collect information from residents including the families of the victims until not long after the discovery of the victim's body the police managed to catch the suspected perpetrator in Garut.
