Police Send A Letter Of Dismissal Of Teddy Minahasa To The Presidential Secretary

JAKARTA - The Head of the Public Relations Division (Kadiv) of the National Police Inspector General Sandi Nugroho said that his party had sent files of dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) of the former West Sumatra Police Chief Teddy Minahasa to the Presidential Military Secretariat (Setmilpres).

This file was sent after the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) hearing rejected Teddy Minahasa's appeal in his dismissal.

"From yesterday's check after the trial was finished, everything had been sent to the Setmillres. Just waiting," said Sandi when met at the National Monument area, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 24.

It is known that the former West Sumatra Police Chief, Teddy Minhasa, had been fired or dishonorably dismissed (PTDH) following his involvement in the circulation of methamphetamine.

The National Police decided to fire Teddy Minahasa after rejecting the appeal filed by the former West Sumatra Police Chief.

Originally, Teddy Minahasa had filed an appeal against the results of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) hearing which was held on Friday, August 4.

The former West Sumatra Police Chief was deemed to have violated the rules because of his involvement in the circulation of methamphetamine.

"We have ordered AKBP DP, who at that time served as the Bukittinggi Police Chief, to set aside evidence of the type of methamphetamine from the results of the disclosure of narcotics circulation," said Ramadhan.
