The Government Issues Retail Sukuk SR012, This Is The Reward

JAKARTA - The government sells retail sukuk SR012 series to individual Indonesian citizens with a rate of return / coupon of 6.3 percent per year and a tenor of three years.

A written statement from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance, Tuesday 25 February, stated that the SBR012 offering period will last from February 24 to March 18, 2020.

This retail sukuk, which has a maturity date on March 10, 2023, can be ordered by the public with a minimum of IDR 1 million and a maximum of IDR 3 billion.

This SR012 issuance is carried out online to facilitate public access to invest in retail SBSN, provide investment alternatives for the community, support inclusive finance, and fulfill part of the 2020 State Budget financing.

Purchase orders can be submitted via an electronic system provided by 28 distribution partners that interface with the e-SBN system.

The 28 distribution partners include PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and PT Bank Permata Tbk.

In addition, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, PT. Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Panin Tbk.

Furthermore, P. Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, PT Bank DBS Indonesia, PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk, PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, PT Bank Commonwealth and PT Bank UOB Indonesia.

Then, PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, PT Bank BRISyariah Tbk, PT Bank Muamalat Tbk, PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk, PT Danareksa Sekuritas and PT Bahana Sekuritas.

Finally, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, PT Bareksa Portal Investasi, PT Star Mercato Capitale (Tanamduit), PT Nusantara Sejahtera Investama (Invisee), PT Investree Radhika Jaya and PT Mitrausaha Indonesia Group (Modalku).

Previously, the government absorbed funds amounting to IDR 21.17 trillion from the sale of SR011 or exceeding the government's indicative target of IDR 10 trillion.

The conventional bank that made the largest sales was PT Bank OCBC NISP amounting to Rp2.97 trillion, while for the Islamic bank it was PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Rp.412.8 billion and the securities company was PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Rp993.52 billion.
