Clashes In Johar Baru Are Getting Brutal, Molotov Bombs Almost Burn Residents' Houses, 2 People Watered
JAKARTA Two groups of residents clashed in front of the Banua Niha Keriso Protestant (BNKP) church, Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru, RW 01, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta, causing two victims of burns.
The two victims were residents of RW 02, they suffered burns to their faces and backs due to hard water.
Head of RT 01/02, Sudaman confirmed that two of his residents were victims of the brawl that occurred.
"There are two of our residents who suffered burns due to strong water splashes," Sudaman told reporters, Thursday, September 21.
Sudaman said that apart from the residents who were victims, one resident's house also almost caught fire due to firecrackers fired at residents' homes.
In addition, damage was also seen in the park, the flag caught fire due to hard water and damaged garden fences.
"We ask the police to immediately arrest the perpetrators who were involved in the brawl. The residents here are already restless because the brawl has occurred for several days," he said.
Leni also said the same complaint, a resident of RT 02/02. According to him, his house was almost burned down due to firecrackers from the perpetrators of the brawl. Luckily the fire did not spread quickly because the residents managed to extinguish it.
"Those are teenagers who attack our village with machetes, Molotov cocktails, hard water and firecrackers," he said.

"Yes, it is true that another brawl occurred in front of the Banua Niha Keriso Protestant (BNKP) church. But we immediately dispersed," said Johar Baru Police Chief, Kompol Ubaidillah to reporters.
Kompol Ubaidillah said that his party had also pocketed the identities of the brawlers. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) examinations were also carried out to see who was involved.
"We are mapping out which group was involved in the brawl. We also have the identities of the perpetrators of the brawl," he said.
