Health Officers In Takalar, South Sulawesi Become Victims Of Theft, Takes Millions Of Money
MAKASSAR - A health worker in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) became a victim of theft. The perpetrators took millions of rupiah in cash and cellphones.
"The perpetrator took his cellphone and money amounting to Rp2,500,000," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Criminal Investigation of South Sulawesi Police, Kompol Suprianto, to VOI, Friday, February 5.
The theft occurred on Sunday, January 24 in the early hours of Maccinibaji Hamlet, Balangtanaya Village, Polong Bangkeng Utara District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi.
The perpetrator stole by entering the house through the victim's window. "By means of the perpetrator entered the victim's house through the front window," he said.
The perpetrator entered the victim's room while the victim was sleeping.
"Exiting through the front door of the house where when the victim was sleeping, he objected to him and then reported it to the police station," said Suprianto.
Police follow up this theft case report. The perpetrator was later arrested.
"The perpetrator explained frankly and admitted that he was the one who committed the theft at the victim's house and admitted that the cellphone he controlled belonged to the victim," he said.
