JAKARTA - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa prepared a relocation and reconstruction scheme to deal with the flood disaster that occurred in Pasuruan Regency.

Governor Khofifah prepared a temporary relocation scheme for local residents to obtain temporary housing and reconstruction to reconnect the broken bridge in Ngerong Hamlet, Ngerong Village, Gempol District.

"The government is preparing a format for infrastructure-related budgets with the SMI scheme format. However, many embankments, bridges and river sedimentation have to be repaired so that the East Java Provincial Government prepares a priority scale from the priority ones," he said.

He said, to accelerate this process, he had communicated with the Head of the East Java Transportation Service who is also Plt. Head of Public Works Department of Highways.

It was explained that this reconstruction process would take a minimum of two months for the Detail Engineering Design (DED).

"I have previously communicated that if the DED can be two months, maybe this year we can still get the SMI scheme for infrastructure with a grass period of two years and a 10 year installment process for the region is very possible so that's about it. Considering that the 2021 APBD is already in progress, "said Governor Khofifah.
