NTT Police Chief Asks Regent Of Sabu Raijua To Orient, Who Is Stupid Because Of The Status Of US Citizens To Maintain A Conducive Situation
KUPANG - The Head of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police, Inspector General Lotharia Latif, asked the elected Regent Sabu Raijua Orient Riwu Kore to maintain a conducive situation in the area after the splashy news in a number of mass media calling himself a citizen of the United States.
'Our meeting was limited to a dialogue with the NTT KPU and Sabu Raijua with Pak Orient. I entrusted the conducive situation in Sabu Raijua to be the main thing, "he told reporters after receiving the arrival of the elected regent Sabu Raijua at the NTT Regional Police Headquarters, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 5.
He confirmed that the meeting with Orient and the KPU was still part of the king's steady operation in order to maintain security and order in the province of East Nusa Tenggara.
Kapolda emphasized that he has the authority to carry out security and supervision of a number of regent candidates as long as they are still candidates for regents.
"Including Pak Orient and we want conducive conditions to be maintained there (Sabu Raijua, red)," he said.
In the dialogue, Inspector General Lotharia admitted that there was no discussion discussing the nationality of the elected regent Sabu Raijua Orient P Riwu Kore.
'We hope that everyone respects the legal process that is currently under way. Moreover, currently there is no decision from the government. So his status as an Indonesian citizen or foreigner is the government's decision, "he added.
Inspector General Lotharia said that Orient's arrival at the NTT Police was not because he was summoned by the police, but because there was communication that was being made during this case.
Since the case started, his party has conducted an investigation in coordination with the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit and related agencies to ensure that there has been a violation or crime or not.
"On the other hand, we are also still waiting and respecting the ongoing legal process," said Inspector General Lotharia
