Commission II Of The DPR-Government Agrees On Revision Of The IKN Law To Be Brought To The Plenary Session
JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR and the government have agreed that the revision of the State Capital Law (IKN) will be brought to a plenary meeting in a working meeting.
"Can we approve the Bill on Amendments to Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital to be brought to decision-making during the upcoming Plenary Meeting of the DPR RI," said Chairman of Commission II of the DPR Ahmad Doli Kurnia, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 19.
The question was answered in agreement with the eight factions of the DPR. In the mini view of each faction, eight factions of the DPR approved the Bill on Amendments to Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital, namely the PDIP, Golkar, Gerindra, NasDem, PKB, Democrats, PAN, and PPP factions. Meanwhile, one faction refused, namely the PKS faction.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Working Committee for Discussion on the Revision of the IKN Law, Junimart Girsang, said that the Working Committee (Panja) of the DPR and the government mutually agreed to agree on the main issue of changes along with the problem inventory list (DIM) in the IKN Bill, including clusters related to land, clusters related to financial management, clusters on spatial planning, and clusters on sustainability guarantees.
In the discussion process, as many as 20 DIMs did not change, 13 DIMs changed editorial, and all factions were equal to 109 DIMs, except for the Democratic Party faction asking for an explanation and 80 DIMs of substance discussed together in the revision of the IKN Law.
