National Museum Exhibition Room Caught On Fire, Collection Objects Burnt
JAKARTA - The fire in the exhibition hall of the National Museum or Elephant Museum, Central Jakarta, Saturday 16 September at 20.00 WIB. As a result, the object of collection caught fire.
"The collection that (burned) was in the exhibition hall," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire Management and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) Satriadi Gunawan to VOI, on Saturday, September 16.
However, regarding the number of collection items that were burned, Satriadi did not elaborate. The reason is that they have not received further information regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, regarding the type or collection of items that were burned, the museum knows better. "We haven't received any information yet (on the number of collections burned)," said Satriadi.

Meanwhile, the firefighting team succeeded in 'taming' the flames which had burned down the exhibition hall of the National Museum or Elephant Museum, Central Jakarta. Currently, the cooling process is underway.
