Suspected Terrorist Mentions Munarman Of Islamic Defenders Front, Police: We Are Stil Waiting For Densus 88’s Report
JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters is still waiting for the results of the Densus 88 Anti-terror investigation regarding the statement of a member of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and a suspected terrorist named Ahmad Aulia.
Based on his confession, Munarman attended the ex-Secretary General of the Islamic Defenders Front during his inauguration.
"Still waiting for the report from Densus 88", said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, to reporters, Friday, February 5.
Regardless of the results of the later examination, Rusdi said that the National Police would take action against all parties who violated the law, including Munarman. But with a note, preliminary evidence must be sufficient.
"However, whoever is involved in a criminal act will definitely be held accountable for the law", he said.
Previously, it was reported that a video went viral on social media that shows the testimony of a member of Islamic Defenders Front who is also a suspected terrorist under the name of Ahmad Aulia.
Based on the video uploaded by @sahaL_AS on Twitter, the man decided to pledge allegiance to the Islamic Defenders Front along with hundreds of other sympathizers.
"I took my pledge at that time with a hundred members of Islamic Defenders Front's supporters and troops. At the Islamic Defenders Front Makassar headquarters at Jalan Sungai Limboto, Makassar", the man said, quoted from @sahaL_AS Twitter account, Thursday, February 4.
In addition, at the time when the man took a pledge, it was attended by former Islamic Defenders Front General Secretary Munarman, and the process was led by two religious leaders.
"When I took the pledge, it was attended by Munarman as the central Islamic Defenders Front committee at that time. Ustad Fauzan and Ustad Basri who led the process at that time", he said.
