Jakarta Floods Impact, Long-Distance Train Passengers Can Refund Tickets
JAKARTA - PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta imposed cancellation of long-distance train tickets for passengers who experience delays due to the impact of flooding in Jakarta.
Train passengers departing from Gambir Station, Pasar Senen, and Jakarta Kota, who are having schedule constraints, can return their tickets within 3x24 hours and will be returned 100 percent in cash.
Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said that cancellation of train tickets or special refund fees for passengers can be done at station counters.
This ticket cancellation can be done for the scheduled departure on February 25, 2020 from 05.00 to 12.00 WIB.
Eva said, for the cancellation process, it is mandatory to include physical proof of the ticket and an original KTP or other identity card with the appropriate name on the ticket.
"Meanwhile, outside the Jakarta area, cancellations can also be done at Bogor, Bekasi, Cikampek, Rangkasbitung and Serang Stations. Or it could be through other possible online stations," said Eva.
Not only that, tickets that can be canceled also include return or round-trip (PP) tickets, as well as other tickets that have a connection character on behalf of passengers who have train tickets for the Daop 1 area of Jakarta departure on February 25
"For example, for the Gambir-Jember trip, the ticket connecting to the next train will be replaced," he explained.
