Insulting The Democrat, Republican Politicians Dismissed From Their Positions In The US House Of Representatives
JAKARTA - The US House of Representatives (DPR) voted to remove Republican politician Marjorie Taylor Greene from two high-profile committee duties on Thursday.
Greene for inflammatory comments that were judged to include support for violence to Democrats. Even though, in voting on this matter, Greene has been defended by 95 percent of Republican politicians, because he has already regretted and apologized for his actions.
As a result, Greene was removed from his seat in the DPR Budget Committee and the Education and Labor Committee, after in the vote 230 DPR members agreed to remove him, compared to 199 people who disagreed. There are 11 Republican members who joined the Democratic Party and agreed to state Greene to guilt.
"I have never faced a situation like this before, where a member has made vile and hurtful remarks, engaged in abusing coworkers, and expressed support for political violence", said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer before the vote", Reuters reported.
“This isn't about a party. It's about whether you will choose decency and truth, "he added.
The vote to punish Greene, Georgia's first-term lawmaker and ally of former President Donald Trump, comes a day after Republican leader Kevin McCarthy chose not to rebuke him.
McCarthy accused the Head of DPR Nancy Pelosi of being hypocritical for not taking similar action against Democrats for the controversial remarks and warned that Thursday's vote would turn on Democrats once Republicans reclaimed the majority.
"You will regret this. If people stick to what they said even before being in this DPR, if the majority decides who sits on the committee, I hope you stick to that standard. Because our list is long", said McCarthy

Hours before the vote, Greene delivered a speech on the DPR floor rejecting some of his earlier statements.
"These are words from the past and these things don't represent me, they don't represent my congress or district and my values", said Greene.
“I am allowed to believe things that are not true, and I will ask questions about them and talk about them. And that's really what I regret", added Greene.
Before taking office last month, Greene voiced support for a series of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories including the 'QAnon' theory that the Democratic elite is part of a secret gang of Satan-worshiping, pedophiles, and cannibals. According to CNN, Greene expressed online support for executing prominent Democrats including Pelosi.
