League 1 Competition Issue Is Rolling, Kabarharkam: No Permit Yet, Waiting For The Decision Of The National Police Chief
JAKARTA - The Head of Security Maintenance Agency of National Police (Kabarharkam Polri), Commissioner General (Komjen) Agus Andrianto, said that no permit has yet been issued regarding the plan to re-host the League 1 and 2 football competitions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Not yet (about the permit)," said Agus to VOI, Friday, February 5.
The issue of holding the League 1 and 2 competitions emerged after the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) would help PSSI get permission from the Police.
It's just that, said Agus, the matter will be decided directly by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The decision was made by taking into account the conditions of the spread of COVID-19.
"Later, the National Police Chief will decide based on the existing situation," he said.
For your information, the League 1 competition has stopped in the 2020 season or since the spread of COVID-19.
However, recently information emerged if the competition will roll back in next February. However, the discourse cannot be implemented because it has not received permission from the related parties.
