Class Teacher Profession Becomes The Primadona Of CPNS In DKI Jakarta

JAKARTA - The classroom teacher profession is the most popular job in the column for civil servant candidate vacancies (CPNS) in the scope of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. There are at least 1,876 applicants who have registered as teaching staff in the capital city.

Apart from being a teacher in the classroom, other professions opened by the DKI Provincial Government include subject teachers and education analysts. It's just that, the number of applicants is not as many as teachers or homeroom teachers.

"There are 1,876 applicants for this profession," said Head of Planning and Utilization of the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency, Sogimun, when confirmed, Wednesday, November 20.

Then, there are two CPNS professions with the least interest. "Formations that are less desirable are those who manage funeral facilities and infrastructure, as well as waste management," said Sogimun.

The DKI Provincial Government has also opened other formations, namely health workers and technical or administrative personnel. The registration period for CPNS DKI has been opened since 11 November. As of Wednesday, November 20, there have been 18,876 applicants. Meanwhile, the available vacancies were only 3,958.

In detail, there are 2,064 vacancies for education personnel formation, 629 for health workers, and 1,265 for technical or administrative personnel. The provision for this amount is based on the Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Number 333 of 2019.

Of the 3,958 vacancies for CPNS DKI, the DKI Provincial Government projects 79 formations for disabilities and 60 for the best graduates. CPNS with the best graduates are applicants who graduated with the predicate "With Praise" or cum laude from a superior accredited university and an A accredited or superior study program at the time of graduation.

Meanwhile, the disability formation is an applicant with special needs who must undergo a medical examination and functional ability by a doctor at a government hospital.

The examination must state that the person concerned is truly a person with a disability and can still be improved through therapy with assistive devices or sign language. Then, applicants can carry out official duties if accepted as CPNS.

This is evidenced by a disability certificate from a doctor at a government hospital or puskesmas explaining the type and degree of disability.
