Police Reveal Murder Case In Bekasi Which Initially Was Thinking Of Suicide
CIKARANG - The police revealed a premeditated murder case that took place in Srengseng Kaliabang Village, Sukamulya Village, Sukatani District, Bekasi Regency, West Java.
"At that time the AD victim was found dead in the bathroom in a very pathetic condition, with the initial report being killed by suicide," said Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Hendra Gunawan as quoted by Antara, Thursday, February 4.
Hendra said the case was revealed thanks to the victim's family report. When washing the victim's body, the family found unnatural wounds all over the victim's body.
"Feeling odd that the victim's family then reported this case to us, asking to immediately uncover this case," he said.
Based on the information from the victim's family, said Hendra, the victim's body had torn wounds on the right side of the abdomen, torn left wrists, torn neck wounds, chin bruises, and rips under the armpit.
"The victim's body was buried by the family on Tuesday (2/2) afternoon, the next day (Wednesday) just reported it to us," he explained.
The officer then investigated the family report regarding the victim's unnatural death. From the results of the investigation and witness testimony, the officers managed to reveal that the victim's death was not due to suicide, but rather led to murder.
"From the witness' testimony, we secured the suspect MR bin T (38) in Sukatani," he said.
After being questioned by investigators, the MR perpetrator finally admitted to having killed the victim on Tuesday, February 2 at around 02.00 WIB in the living room by stabbing the victim several times using black-handled scissors until he died.
After that the perpetrator pulled the victim from the living room to the bathroom and the next morning it was made as if the victim had died from suicide. The victim's family and residents who found the victim died suspect that the victim committed suicide.
MR perpetrators are threatened with premeditated murder and / or murder in accordance with Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code with the threat of life imprisonment or 20 years.
