KPK Investigate Various Procurement Projects Through The Mayor's Wife And Subordinates Bima
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating various project implementations in the Bima City Government, West Nusa Tenggara. This effort was carried out by examining five witnesses, including the wife of the Mayor of Bima Muhammad Lutfi, Ellya.
"The witness was present and willing to provide information," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, September 11.
Ellya was examined along with four other witnesses at the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police. They are civil servants (PNS) who are members of the Bima City Goods or Services Procurement Working Group for the 2018-2022 period Jikrullah, Ririn Kurniawati, and Salahuddin, as well as the private sector, Eka Putri Noviyanti.
"Witnesses were present and their knowledge was explored, among others, related to the implementation of various goods and services procurement projects within the Bima City Government," Ali explained.
It has not been detailed what project the anti-corruption commission is looking for. However, the statements of the four are believed to make the suspect's actions clear in this case.

The KPK previously revealed that it was conducting an investigation at the Bima City Government. It is suspected that there were allegations of gratification and corruption in the procurement of goods and services.
There has been no detail about the suspect in this case. However, it was reported that the Mayor of Bima M. Lutfi had been named a suspect.
As for the investigation of this case, investigators from the anti-corruption commission have searched a number of locations on Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30. The locations that were searched included the office of the Mayor of Bima Muhammad Lutfi; the office of the Regional Secretary; and the workspace of the goods and services procurement service unit.
Then a search was also carried out at the suspect's house; the Bima City PUPR Office; Bima City Government BPBD Office; and Residence Houses from other related parties. From this process, allegations of gratification and corruption were found in the procurement of goods and services.
