Fire Car Deployed To Handle Cirebon Luhur Coffee TPA Fire
A total of two fire engines from the Fire Department (Damkar) were deployed to deal with fires at the Luhur Coffee Waste Final Disposal Site (TPA), Argasunya Village, Cirebon City, West Java.
"Only two units, we can't send one more unit yet. So, we will send two units," said Head of Preparedness, Operations and Rescue at the Cirebon City Fire Department, Nurjaman at the location, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 9.
Nurjaman said that of the two cars, around 14 firefighters were still trying to extinguish the fire so that the fire would not spread again.
From the information received, he said, the fire at the Luhur Coffee TPA occurred at around 16.20 WIB. He appealed to local residents not to approach the scene.

Nurjaman said the extinguishing effort was hampered by a fairly minimal supply of water around the location and flammable waste material.
For the time being, he ensured that his party was extinguishing the fire with existing personnel.
"Receiving the report 15 minutes ago, the cause of the fire is not yet known," he said.
