Abu Janda Calmly Admits He Insulted Natalius Pigai
JAKARTA - Social media activist Permadi Arya or Abu Janda admitted that he insulted Natalius Pigai by using the 'evolution' word in his tweets. However, the context of his insult has nothing to do with the physical but the mindset.
"If you say I insulted his way of thinking, that's right (insulting)", said Abu Janda at Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Thursday, February 4.
Abu Janda said that his tweet questioned Natalius Pigai's capacity, who had previously questioned Hendropriyono the same thing. In fact, Hendropriyono is a general who has a myriad of achievements.
"It was solely because of Pigai's tweet questioning the capacity of the general, I replied back, 'What's your capacity? Have you finished yet? Your way of thinking, is it completed yet?
Yet, Abu Janda was confused because the insults aimed at Pigai seemed to extend to other parties because the person who reported in this case is not Natalius Pigai himself.
"But that's my business with pigai. That's why I am confused, why these issues are still being widened everywhere without context?", he said.
As for Abu Janda, he has completed an investigation regarding the alleged hate speech against Natalius Pigai. He was examined for 4 hours and was asked dozens of questions.
"The examination is about 4 to hours, 20 questions", said Abu Janda.
Abu Janda finished undergoing an examination at around 14.00 pm local time. During the examination, he was accompanied by two of his lawyers.
During the examination, Abu Janda said that he explained that the word 'evolution' he wrote was only to question the capacity of Natalius Pigai. This is because previously the activist from Papua insulted General (ret) AM Hendropriyono.
