Pay Call General Maya 'Wild' Like Slank Formation 13
JAKARTA - The 31F concert plan was postponed, which was initiated by former Slank personnel in the formation era of 13; Pay, Indra Q and Bongky due to the COVID-19 epidemic, did not turn off the fire of their enthusiasm to continue to provide satisfaction to fans. Now, the three of them are making a music project called General Maya.
According to Pay to VOI, General Maya was proclaimed on January 27 yesterday. Currently, they are recording 10 songs for their debut album which will be released in the near future.
Talking about the musical direction that lies in the songs, Pay initially asked us to give our own assessment once the album was released. However, this guitar virtuoso, which is the pride of the country, cannot help but give leaks.
He said the composition in General Maya's debut album was showered with the spirit of Slank 13 formation era with new passion. For that, he wanted the album to be as wide as Slank's first five albums.
"I really want to be like before," said Pay briefly.
Previously, Pay said General Maya took a number of singers to take part in this album. However, Dewiq's ex-husband is still reluctant to reveal which singers will be involved.
"The three of us (with Indra Q and Bongky), but many singers. We don't know who the singers are," Pay said.
As for drummers, Pay did not mention any details again. He just gave the idea that the man who would be standing behind the drum set was chosen spontaneously.
