31F Concert Delayed, Pay, Indra Q And Bongky Record 10 New Songs For General Maya
JAKARTA - The 31F concert which was initiated by three former Slank personnel in the formation of 13: Pay, Indra Q and Bongky last year was postponed until an undetermined time.
The COVID-19 pandemic that never ends, has put the music industry on their backs. However, Pay emphasized that they will continue to work and surprise fans.
Currently, Pay is recording for his new project with Indra Q and Bongky. Named General Maya, the band will be releasing their debut album in the near future.
Yes, album. Not single. As Pay said to VOI, there are 10 songs that they have prepared and are ready to serve to fans.
"This is again the basic recording process," Pay said by telephone.
"Immediately release the album, it's already 10 songs," continued one of the Indonesian guitar heroes, emphasized.
Based on Pay's information, General Maya was recently formed. Even though the personnel have been close for decades, this project was only officially initiated on January 27, 2021, featuring executive producer @andeweazallosplos.
Look back. Pay, Indra Q, and Bongky were fired from Slank during the process of working on the album Lagi Sad in 1996. In the same year, the three of them formed BIP (Bongky, Indra, Pay) which was followed up with the release of their debut album Turun dari Langit five years later.
Last February, Pay, Indra Q, and Bongky came up with the idea for the concert 31F aka Tiga Satu Formasi with a repertoire of songs from Slank's first five albums; Suit ... Suit ... He ... He (Sexy Girl) (1990), Kampungan (1991), Piss (1993), Generation Blue (1994), and Minority (1996). However, the plan was put on hold because the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
