Believe Me, The Concert Of Former Slank F13 Personnel Represents The Momentum Of Everyone's Life
JAKARTA - In a chat on Reynold Affandi's YouTube channel, Reynold and SenarGitar in the 'Rumors Sesama Guitarist' program, former guitarist Slank Formasi 13 (F13) Pay revealed that the 31F concert plan had high sentimental value and was not looking for an old Slanker. and the new Slanker.
Personally, Pay admitted that he was lazy to repeat the F13 reunion plan and performed Slank's songs from the album 1-5; Suit ... Suit ... He ... He (Sexy Girl) (1990), Kampungan (1991), Piss (1993), Generation Blue (1994), and Minority (1996). But, he feels he has a responsibility to fans.
"From below the 'waves' are fast. I have to pay attention to the waves, a little responsibility," Pay told Reynold, who is also a former Slank Formation 14 guitarist.
"During my time with Bongky and Indra, the material was on the 1-5 album. Maybe there was material that they never heard of and they really missed," Pay continued.
The guitarist for the band BIP then emphasized that he did not want to be busy in debating the old Slanker and the new Slanker. He also does not want to be involved in the superiority of the past. But when the fan response on social media was so strong, he felt he had to make their dream come true.
"Like yesterday I played the song Kalah again. Crazy! That represents the momentum, even though I am not complete (playing), only the lead," said Pay.
"It's a sign that, signature, means that it reminds every moment of people's lives. Anj *** I listen to this song I feel like tomorrow I wake up wearing school clothes."
Even though Pay admitted that he could no longer play (guitar) like the original and had to do it again.
"I'm fingering again," he said.
Surely what Pay, Indra, and Bongky did was solely for those who missed them. If someone says Pay et al can't move on, that's their business. After all, the trigger for the 31F concert plans wasn't money.
"Momentum 1-5 is part of my life journey. Apart from being emotional and authentic, no one has Indra's voice. But the synergy of everything (with other personnel) is all authentic," he explained.
In this chat, Massto Sidharta, Bimbim's younger brother, was also present as a 31F drummer. There is also Andre Tiranda, guitarist for death metal band Siksakubur, who has positioned himself as a hardline F13 fan. He especially hopes that the 31F concert will be treated with a beautiful and significant tour.
"Give me (during) practice first," Pay responded to Andre with a laugh.
Separately, Bongky told VOI that the 31F concert plan was being prepared so that it could be realized, not just a discourse.
"It's official, we're working, the concept is efficient for a short, long work period," said Bongky
