Coming To Fulfill The Report Call Regarding Pigai, Abu Janda: I Want To Focus My Mind And Energy

JAKARTA - Social media activist Permadi Arya or Abu Janda has kept his promise to be present at the investigation of the alleged racial hate speech against Natalius Pigai at the National Police Brigade.

However, he was reluctant to give a comment on the investigation. The reason is that they want to concentrate on the examination process.

"I want to focus all my thoughts and energy on being examined, so I'm sorry I don't want to comment on anything just yet", said Abu Janda at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Thursday, January 4.

He also said to wait for all the examination results. Then, emphasized that he would follow all legal processes cooperatively.

"I just want to say that as a good citizen, I will undergo this legal process, obey the law and try to be cooperative", he said.

This case started when Abu Janda wrote in his tweet the word 'evolution' which was considered an insult to Pigai. So, it was reported by the Chairman of the Legal Division of the Indonesian Youth National Committee, Medya Rischa Lubis.

"The word 'evolution' is the bottom line for us to report the @permadiaktivis1 account for allegedly spreading hate speech", said Medya.

This tweet was uploaded to the @permadiaktivis1 account on January 2. At that time, Abu Janda commented on the debate between Pigai and Hendropriyono.

"The capacity of General Hendropriyono: Former Head of the State Intelligence Agency, Former Director of the Strategic Intelligence Agency, Former Minister of Transmigration, Professor of Intelligence Philosophy, Served in various military operations. You, Natalius Pigai, what is your capacity? Have you finished your evolution yet?", wrote Abu Janda.
