Electric Short Circuit Causes One Resident's House Fire In Ciracas
JAKARTA - Residents of Ciracas suddenly panicked when they saw a flames burning a resident's house on Sunday night, September 3.
Even so, they tried to do manual watering with makeshift tools so that the fire was extinguished.
"The fire incident occurred on Jalan Tanah Merdeka 5, RT 08/04, Rambutan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta. The fire was caused by an electrical short," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed by VOI.
The fire incident was initially discovered when one resident smelled smoke from the room of one of the houses.
"The witness said he suddenly smelled smoke from the room of one of the houses. After seeing the fire appeared. The witness also contacted residents and reported to the fire department," he said.

After receiving the report, as many as 8 units of cars were deployed to the location of the fire with the deployment of 40 personnel.
"The fire was successfully extinguished at 19.25 WIB. The object that was burned by the residential house, covering an area of 200 meters belonging to Hariyati Arif. The total loss was IDR 50 million," he said.
Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of this fire. As many as 2 heads of families were rescued from the flames.
