Without Neymar, PSG Still Appear Dominant Over Nimes

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain won full points from guest Nimes in the 23rd match of the French League on Wednesday local time (Thursday WIB).

PSG did not have any significant difficulties ending the match with a 3-0 victory, even though the three points were not enough to lift Les Parisien to the top of the standings.

Launching Antara, Kylian Mbappe and friends remain in third position behind Lille and Lyon with a collection of 48 points. While Nimes is getting mired in the abyss of relegation with 15 points.

Even without Neymar's reinforcement, PSG still appeared dominant. 11 minutes after the kickoff, Moise Kean had already threatened Nimes when his header hit the crossbar.

However, it did not take long for PSG to open up their lead. Only seven minutes after Kean's chance, Angel Di Maria successfully netted the ball when Nimes goalkeeper Baptiste Reynet's shot could not be anticipated.

The hosts had another unlucky fate when Thilo Kehrer's header also hit the crossbar in the 23rd minute. Pablo Sarabia appeared to be the difference to close the first half with a 2-0 lead thanks to completing Di Maria's pass.

In the second half PSG still did not relax their attacks and continued to lock up the visitors' defense which had difficulty developing their game.

Kylian Mbappe then made sure his team secured the three points when his long-range shot rattled the visitors' net.
