Personnel DPRD Dharmasraya West Sumatra, Escape After Involved In A Murder, Police Ransack Homes And Hunt Off Perpetrators

JAKARTA - The Dharmasraya Police (Polres), West Sumatra (West Sumatra) is still pursuing BAS, an unscrupulous member of the Dharmasraya Regency DPRD, West Sumatra who was involved in the murder case.

Apart from BAS, the officers are still looking for 6 other actors who are now on the wanted list (DPO).

"There are 11 suspects in this deadly persecution case, 4 of whom have been arrested and are currently undergoing trial proceedings," said Head of the Dharmasraya Police, AKBP Aditiya Galayudha Ferdiansyah, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, February 4.

BAS is a member of the Dharmasraya Regency DPRD for the period 2019-2024 and has had DPO status since August 26, 2020. He is suspected of being involved in the murder of AR alias D (24), a resident of Nagari Koto Tinggi, Koto Besar District.

The victim who was attacked in Nagari Koto Ranah, Sunday, June 21, 2020, died after being taken to Sungai Rumbai Hospital. A total of 4 suspects who have advanced to trial are Amrizal (62), Agung Wijaya (38), Randi (19), and Murkwadaya (33).

"The local police have conducted house searches and collected information and surveillance regarding the existence of BAS along with 6 other DPOs," he said.
