On The Second Day Of Operation, Jabodebek LRT Operations Only Until 8 Pm

JAKARTA - The Jabodebek LRT has started serving the community from 05.00 to 20.00 WIB on the second day of operation. This operating hour is valid for the next two weeks.

The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Kuswardoyo, said that the Jabodebek LRT operating hours had been approved by the Ministry of Transportation. This operating hours are adjusted to the number of trainsets or series of trains that are opersed.

"The Ministry of Transportation as its regulator, they agreed to the LRT operating hours from 5 (early) until the last 8 (night)," he said at Dukuh Atas Station, Jabodebek LRT, Tuesday, August 29.

"So these 12 trainsets have 158 trips operated per day. The capacity is still with 1,308 for the full capacity of the train," he continued.

During the inauguration of the Jabodebek LRT, Director General of Railways Risal Wasal said that in the early days the Jabodebek LRT would serve the community until 20.00 WIB. However, this operating hours will be adjusted gradually in line with the addition of trainsets.

Ini ada beberapa tahap, ada tiga tahap. Tahap pertama untuk 2 minggu ke depan, itu baru beroperasisionalkan 12 trainset, yang akan beroperasi dari jam 5 pagi sampai jam 8 malam. Nanti setelah itu, tambah lagi 14 trainset, 2 minggu kemudian tambah lagi 16 trainset, dan terakhir 27 trainset nanti kurang kurang sehari ada 467 perjalanan, kata Risal.
