Legendary Coach Carlo Mazzone Passes Away, Pirlo And Totti Mourn And Feel Many Debts Budi

JAKARTA - Italian football mourns Carlo Mazzone's loss. The 90s-era coach died at the age of 86 on Saturday, August 19 local time.

The departure of Carlo Mazzone turned out to be also a deep sorrow for Andrea Pirlo and Francesco Totti. Although in his tenure until 2006 Mazzone had never won the Scudetto, he had an important role in finding and shaping Pirlo and Totti's talents.

Pirlo and Totti were young to feel the moment of playing under Mazzone. Pirlo grew up as a deep lending playmaker in Brescia and Totti in the treqartista position in AS Roma.

I'm not wrong if later Mezzone can be said to be a coach who has a role in creating a touch of Pirlo and Totti's slick game. For the departure of the coach, Pirlo was sorry and felt a debt to the late Mazzone.

I owe you a lot. I'm proud to have met you and you have made me grow up as a man and as a footballer.

"Once again, thank you to everyone, Carletto," Pirlo wrote on his personal Instagram account quoted Monday, August 21.

Totti also expressed the same thing, through his social media Totti accompanied Mazzone's departure with a thank you for his service while he was a coach.

"You are there and will always be in my heart. Thank you for everything you've done for me," Totti wrote on personal Instagram.

Mazzone started his coaching career by investigating Ascoli in 1968. Furthermore, Mazzone continued and devoted himself to the end of his career as Italy coach by investigating clubs such as Fiorentina, Napoli, Brescia, AS Roma, Bologna, Perugia until the last at Livorno.
