Solo City Government Supports Central Java Policy At Home Only
SOLO - The Surakarta City Government supports the "Central Java at Home Only" policy to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
"Let's try for two days at home together. We'll see what the results of the swab look like on Monday. Especially now that the cluster is a family cluster," said Surakarta Mayor FX Hadi Rudyatmo in Solo, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 2.
He said that currently there is no circular (SE) regarding Central Java's policy at home only. Although he had disagreed with the policy for fear of having a bad impact on the economic sector, the Surakarta City Government finally agreed.
"Yes, try it first, I tell you to make the policy of the podo-podo ora penak sisan (it's not that good). Saturday and Sunday tomorrow it should have started. The Condition Creation Team must really work hard," he said.
According to him, from the economic sector the policy would certainly have an impact on the non-operation of economic and business centers.
"Including malls, if that's all. Strict precaution, the economy will stop. At home, everything should be closed, including traditional markets, lasting 48 hours," he said.
Meanwhile, he said, during the two days the Condition Creation Team, including the TNI / Polri and Satpol PP, had to really ensure that the community obeyed these rules. He also asked the community to be cooperative in carrying it out.
"Do not let someone get trapped (affected by surgery), become angry, become a polemic, because the increase (number of COVID-19 cases) is no longer bargaining. If the additions continue, we will run out of hospitals," he said.
He said that so far the ones that have been prepared as a COVID-19 emergency hospital have been prepared by the Surakarta City Government, namely Solo Technopark and Ndalem Joyokusuman.
