Police Do Not Explain Reasons For Arrest Singer Silento
JAKARTA - Rapper Silento, known for his hit song Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae), was arrested by police after killing his cousin, Frederick Rooks.
According to TMZ's report today, Tuesday, February 2, the police initially found the Rooks lifeless in the middle of the road on January 21. Bullet casings were also found at the scene.
They found footage from the area around the house that recorded gunfire and several vehicles leaving the scene.
The police did not reveal the reasons behind Silento's arrest and the motives of the young rapper. But currently, he is being held in the DeKalb prison.
In September, Silento was arrested after threatening someone with an ax. Then, in October, he was arrested for driving a car with a speed of 143 MPH or the equivalent of 230 km per hour.
Silento became popular because of his debut song, Watch Me, which was watched 2.5 million times within a week of its release.
At the age of 23, Silento has released two studio albums and collaborated with musicians such as Dawin, Sicko Mobb, and 1Punch.
