To Bareskrim Bring A Suitcase Filled With Clothes, Widow's Abu: I Am Ready To Be Detained
JAKARTA - Social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda said he was ready to be detained if later declared a suspect. In fact, even today he already brought a bag filled with clothes.
"I am ready no matter what. I am ready to be arrested," said Abu Janda at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Monday, February 1.
The bag containing the clothes, he said, was deliberately prepared before undergoing examination. It's just that, the reality is different because the police allowed him to go home.
"I'm still preparing it today. It turns out that I am still being examined as a witness and there is still a follow-up examination on Thursday," he said.
This further investigation is related to the alleged case of hate speech against Natalius Pigai. This case was triggered by a tweet that carried evolutionary diction.
"(Hate speech examination) That is for the next summons Thursday," he said.
As previously reported, Abu Janda had already completed the examination. He was questioned as a reported case against alleged hate speech and blasphemy for 12 hours with dozens of questions.
"I have been checked for 12 hours, the questions are already 50 questions, definitely more," said Abu Janda.
Of the dozens of questions asked by investigators, said Abu Janda, more were about the intent and purpose of his tweets on social media.
