Hotel Business Recovery Rate In Nusa Dua Bali Has Reached 91 Percent
JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) noted that the hotel business recovery rate in Nusa Dua, Bali has reached 91 percent.
The President Director of ITDC, Ari Respati, explained that the process of restoring the hotel business in Nusa Dua occurred when Indonesia entered the endemic era.
During this transition period, the number of domestic tourists in Nusa Dua increased significantly.
"91 percent of the growth recovery (hotels) compared to (the period) the previous year," said Ari during Media Briefing, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 8.
Ari said, the occupancy rate for hotels in Nusa Dua from last year until the second quarter of 2023 was 97.33 percent. In fact, in July this year the figure reached 81 percent.
This is not normal because Chinese foreign tourists have not entered. If you look at the occupancy rate, the increase is almost 100 percent.
"If you look at the visits from people who come, there are people who come to Nusa Dua, not all stay, only visit, that's almost 22 percent. And the occupancy rate, I'm talking about in July alone, the average occupancy rate is 81 percent," he said.
Currently, said Ari, the occupancy rate of the hotel industry in Nusa Dua is driven by domestic tourists.
However, it did not specify the percentage of tourists from Indonesia.
