For No Clear Reason, Youth With Tattoos Persecuted Underage Women In Sukabumi
SUKABUMI - A 19-year-old youth with a body filled with tattoos, identification as a DMJ, has been arrested by Citamiang Police, Sukabumi City Resort, on charges of mistreatment and beating a underage girl. The incident occurred in Citamiang District, Sukabumi City on Friday, August 4 at around 19.00 WIB.
According to information from the Head of Citamiang Police, Iptu Iwan Hendi Sutisna, the beating of the victim, identified as P (15), a resident of Warudoyong District, Sukabumi City, was carried out by DMJ and seven of his colleagues. This incident began when DMJ was contacted by R, who is also a boyfriend from P and is on the wanted list (DPO), to meet at the scene.
When DMJ arrived at the location, R and six of his colleagues were waiting with P. For no apparent reason, the underage girl suddenly became a victim of abuse by the eight men. Local residents who heard the commotion left the house and saw the incident.
Residents who witnessed the incident immediately moved to stop the violence and chase the perpetrators. DMJ was arrested by residents and then handed over to the Citamiang Police.
As a result of the beating, the victim was injured and rushed to R Syamsudin SH Hospital in Sukabumi City for medical treatment and post-mortem.
Currently, the suspect DMJ is still being investigated by investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Citamiang Police to reveal the motive for the action and to find fellow suspects who are still on the People's Wanted List (DPO) status.
This case is still under development by the authorities and they are hunting for other suspects whose identities are known. The DMJ suspect himself is threatened with multiple legal articles, including the Child Protection Act and Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution, with a penalty of more than five years in prison.
