Mercedes-benz Club Indonesia Adventure Three Countries. This Is Bamsoet's Message
JAKARTA - Three countries ranging from Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia will become the agenda of the Mercedes-benz Club Indonesia Adventure Three Countries.
From Jakarta and various other cities, touring participants will first gather at the Nusantara State Capital Zero Point (IKN Nusantara) to attend the independence commemoration ceremony on August 17, 2023.
Through this event, participants were asked by the Chairperson of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly as well as the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) to invite the automotive community in Malaysia and Brunei to tour Indonesia. Explore various Indonesian tourist destinations such as Lombok, Bali, Lake Toba, and Tanjung Lesung. Including introducing investment potential at IKN Nusantara, which can be utilized by automotive communities from various countries. And the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) is also ready to assist in the management of the FIA Carnet De Passages En Douane (CPD) for the world automotive community who want to tour in Indonesia.
"After the ceremony, participants immediately started touring to Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Lamandau, Entikong Malaysia Cross-Border Post (PLBN) to Brunei, and finished again in Pontianak. Touring was attended by around 36 participants using 12 cars," said Bamsoet after receiving the Mercedes-benz Club Indonesia Adventuring Committee for Three Countries, in Jakarta, Friday, August 4.
Also present were Secretary General of MB Club Indonesia Afiansyah, EVP OSR Herry, Secretary General MBW202 Nurdin, Representative of MBW202 Bowo, Representative of MBW204 Ratu, Publication Division of MB Club Indonesia Mizan, and VICOI Uchie representatives.

Bamsoet explained, in Brunei Darussalam, the touring participants are planned to be accepted by the ranks of the Indonesian Embassy as well as make donations for Indonesian citizens in Brunei. Along the routes traversed in Malaysia and Brunei, the Mercedes-Benz community will also welcome participants.
"Through various international touring activities organized by automotive lovers, IMI also socializes the FIA CPD facility which is very beneficial for the automotive community who want to use their own vehicles from the country to tour across countries in the ASEAN area. This facility can be realized thanks to IMI's collaboration with the ranks of Indonesian Customs and Excise," concluded Bamsoet.
