TNI Commander: Joint Exercises To Measure The Strength And Capabilities Of The TNI
TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono said the joint training of the TNI for three dimensions was an effort to continue to hone the ability and improve the professionalism of soldiers to be prepared to face threats and disturbances to the Republic of Indonesia.
"This joint exercise is important to do to maintain state sovereignty. It threatens our sovereignty, so we overcome it with joint operations like this," he said after reviewing the Joint Exercise of the TNI Dharma Yudha 2023 at the T-12 of the Marine 5 Baluran Center, Situbondo, East Java. reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 1.
In addition to honing and improving the professionalism of TNI soldiers, continued Commander Yudo Margono, the joint exercise is also to see the strength and preparedness of defense equipment operations, both the Indonesian Army, Navy, and Air Force, including the readiness of all personnel involved.
"The personnel involved in this joint exercise are 7,675 personnel, 35 ships from the Republic of Indonesia, 20 fighter aircraft, 15 helicopters, 19 land tanks, and 43 amphibious tanks, including cannons, both for joint land operations and cannons for beach defense.
"We involve everything and check its preparedness, this is to measure the extent of the strength and capability of the TNI in the joint operation of the TNI according to the doctrine it has," he said.
TNI Commander Yudo Margono explained that conventional war games are still effective in anticipating the threat of state sovereignty in the future.

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD also directly inspected the joint TNI training to replace President Joko Widodo, who was previously scheduled to attend the joint training of the three dimensions.
