DPR Member Bakri HM Is In The Spotlight Because Of Talking About NTT, Nothing Is Special, Most Are The Commodities

JAKARTA - Member of DPR A Bakri HM is again in the spotlight on the Twitter timeline. Bakri HM is considered to have offended East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) because he called NTT nothing special.

The origin of the emotional outburst of citizens was due to Bakri HM's statement during the DPR Commission V hearing meeting with the Director General of Human Settlements and the Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency (BPIW) of the Ministry of PUPR.

The hearing which was held on Tuesday, January 26, discussed the work programs of the Directorate General of Human Settlements and BPIW for 2021.

Bakri HM, a politician from the National Mandate Party (PAN) in RDP alluded to the issue of injustice, aka the imbalance of BPIW's budget for regions. For Bakri, the budget for five National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN) is too large.

"I see the 2021 program, 5 strategic areas for national tourism, it would be nice maybe in the future every member will have data on tourism programs in the region. It's a sense of justice. Yesterday, I was invited by my friends from Commission V to visit NTT. There was nothing special, Ma'am there, the most special was the commodity, ”said politician PAN Bakri directly speaking in the DPR Commission V room.

Then Bakri HM compared NTT with Jambi. For him, Jambi has a myriad of tourism potentials that are no less great than other regions.

"You look at the beach, see what, there are many places in Jambi, Mom. But the budget (5 KSPN) is really big. For a sense of justice, it would be great for every member to be given, for example, when talking about tourist visits in Jambi, they are no less. We have a tour of the famous Muaro Jambi Temple from thousands of years ago, the school of Buddhist science. Then the long Batanghari river, there is another geopark in Merangin, Rumah Tua Tabir (Rumah Tuo Rantau Panjang), the highest mountain in Sumatra, Mount Kerinci. Well, this is a lot, ma'am, if we don't share the portion, we will feel like it will continue to be crowded. In the end, we want justice, "Bakri continued.
