The case of the alleged flow of funds from foreigners to Ansar's account was reported by the Candidate Team for Governor and Deputy Governor Serial Number 2, Isdianto-Suryani. The money was exchanged by Susilo, a member of Ansar Ahmad's winning team at one of the money exchange counters in Tanjungpinang.
"That is personal money, not foreign funds that go into the paslon's account, which are then used for campaigns," he said.
Previously, a member of the Ansar-Marlin winning team, Syarafuddin Aluan, said that from the beginning he had predicted that the Isdianto-Suryani team report could not be followed up. The 30 thousand Singapore dollars belonged to Ansar, not a gift from a foreign company or foreign person.
