Pertamina's Managing Director Patra Niaga Sidak To LPG Base Ensure Safe Stock
JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Riva Siahaan conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at a number of LPG bases to ensure the reliability of the 3 kilogram (kg) subsidized LPG supply for the community.
"This inspection is intended to ensure and check the availability of stock at the base, to absorb the aspirations of the community," Riva said in a statement reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 29.
The points visited, said Riva, include LPG agents and bases in Kediri, East Java along with the Pertamina Patra Niaga Team, Jatimbalinus.
In general, there has been an increase, but stock improvements have been carried out at the base to meet the needs of the community.
"In general, stock and supply in Kediri are in a safe and abundant condition at Pertamina's official LPG Base. Judging from the increase in consumption in Pangkalan log book, several consumers who are not entitled to start exchanging their 3 kilograms of LPG cylinders to non-subsidized Bright Gas. In other areas, efforts to normalize LPG stocks are also being carried out," he said.
Riva also continued to check it with agents and bases in the Malang Raya area. All transactions are running properly, everything is recorded and the stock is also confirmed to be safe.
Pertamina Patra Niaga appealed to community members to buy LPG directly at the base, because we are currently increasing stock at the official base. If you need more information about the nearest base and other Pertamina services, please contact Pertamina's Call Center 135," said Riva.
One of the owners of the LPG base in Kediri, Ruli, dismissed the issue of buying by residents outside the city and prioritizing consumers around him.
"The demand for an increase has occurred in the past month, the supply from Pertamina has always been there and we continue to report the needs of LPG in the field so that it continues to be sufficient. We also serve only residents of Kota (Kediri), especially residents of Bangsal," said Ruli.
Meanwhile, Nanda, one of the consumers, who visited Ruli's LPG base, turned out to be exchanging her 2 3kg tubes for a non-subsidized tube (LPG).
"I was given education because I was in a laundry business, I can't use 3 kg now, so I just exchange it for 5.5 kg," said Nanda.
