Abu Janda Is Called The Phenomenon Of Influencer With Lack Of References

JAKARTA - DPR member who is also a social media activist, Dedi Mulyadi, said that the phenomenon of Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda is one of the intellectual problems of influencers. Dedi assessed that Abu Janda was a celebrity with a lot of actions but minimal references.

"Abu Janda is the problem with the lack of ideas from influencers. Many actions lack content. Many actions lack references," said Dedi in a written statement, Saturday, January 30.

Dedi Mulyadi explained that Abu Janda always appeared in traditional Javanese clothes. However, his manner of speech and behavior does not represent Javanese culture.

"I even asked who he actually represented. If he represented the traditions, which tradition did he develop. If he represented the nahdiyin where he studied and what books he liked. Even if he talked about plruaslism, nationalism, it was forbidden to be racist, "said Dedi.

Dedi said that this country needs people who have real work and adequate exemplary attitudes. Only with these two characteristics, said Dedi, can society build a pluralistic Indonesia well.

According to him, various actions that open space for groundless debate will only create endless conflicts.

"It's time to organize this country well. Democracy must be filled by intelligent people," he said.

Democracy is only filled with intelligent people

Dedi said democracy would only be filled with intelligent and objective people, without blindly speaking to a different thought group.

"If pluralists are blind to groups that are considered different, how is it different from fundamentalists?" said Dedi.

According to him, the framework of thinking about nationality will only be filled with a national spirit. On the other hand, when talking about nationality or nationalism, if the soul is only filled with the soul of a group or ism, Dedi considered it meaningless.

"This means that nationalism or nationalism only becomes an understanding based on the isms that we believe in. So in its journey, it only defeats each other. So that the isms are only issues or packaging. Nationalism is the content of our national system, not just packaging," said Dedi.

He assessed that today the isms have turned into political packages, because of political packaging, often the behavior of those who feel nationalist but do not reflect nationalism.

"It turns out that we cannot be objective, we still take sides. Outside of our group, we consider it wrong. The Abu Janda phenomenon is one of them. He is also an influencer problem with minimal ideas but lots of action," he said.
