Prof. Indriyanto Praises The Gathering Of The Chief Of Police To NU-Muhammadiyah Bringing Coolness, Building Conducive Kamtimas
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo's safaris to a number of Islamic mass organizations including PBNU and PP Muhammadiyah are a good first step. This gathering can build a conducive public order and security (kamtibmas).
"The National Police needs to build communication with Islamic mass organizations in Indonesia such as NU and Muhammidyah, of course to bring coolness to the public against the issue of radicalism by a small group of people," said Prof. Indriyanto Seno Adji to VOI, Saturday, January 30.
According to Prof. Indriyanto, this gathering can simultaneously run the Presisi program with the synergy of the NU and Muhammadiyah communities as moderate religious social forces.
"This gathering of the Chief of Police is a strategic effort in building a conducive community service," he said.
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo visits the headquarters of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board, Jalan Kramat Raya, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 28.
To reporters, General Listyo Sigit said that his arrival was to stay in touch. Moreover, NU is a large organization in Indonesia.
"Increase the synergy of the umaroh and ulama in implementing Harkamtibmas maintenance programs because it is true that in the future the National Police may not work without the support and participation of the community," Listyo told reporters, Thursday, January 28.
Listyo said that his arrival was also to harmonize perceptions about Polri's programs during his leadership. So, later there will be no misunderstanding.
